 Friends of Macomb Township: A Community Foundation has traditionally awarded six scholarships to local students. The Friends was created as a foundation charitable organization in 1995. It provides financial support to endeavors that enrich the lives of children, youth and families within Macomb Township. In addition to funding annual student scholarships, the organization accomodates regular contributions to local Glen Peters School and Parent Group, Local Libraries, and other incidental needs like Senior Pickle Ball support and special projects like a memorial monument to veterans and first responders. The group traditionally derives financial support from community fundraiser events and individual, business and group contributions.

We focus on making the maximum positive effort for our community with our community! Our Board members and volunteers provide the resources that helps us affect enriching lives locally.   Specifically, we aim to provide at least six Township high school Senior college scholarships each each year and provide regular contributions to Glen Peters School plus other institutions or groups to enrich local lives via an engaged community.
